Description: Very nice vintage Royal Doulton character jug. A beautiful collectors item. NO RESERVE.. The English Translucent China (ETC) versions of this jug were only made between 1968 and 1971 so are much harder to find than the standard earthenware version. The most obvious variation is the size, as the china body fires about 15% smaller than the earthenware, when a lamp (bulb) holds into them, they glow yellow-orange. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. To the base is the Royal Doulton mark (see photo).
